Firewall is a total, exit-point security system covering 41 exit points (46 in
release 5.1) -more than any other product in the market. Using IBM provided and
supported exit points to monitor and control AS/400 access from the network

Firewall -.is activated with standard IBM commands to ensure product upward
compatibility and co-existence with other system tools. Every network access
invokes one or more exit points where authorization can be checked. Pre-defined
user options determine which actions are taken and either log the event while
allowing processing to continue, or reject the log. The whole process is rapid and
transparent with users not even aware of it occurring.
